Overview
Tylenol (acetaminophen) is widely used for pain and fever relief during pregnancy and is generally considered safe when used as directed and for short periods. However, recent research has raised questions about possible risks with frequent or long-term use, particularly regarding child neurodevelopment. Most major medical organizations have not changed their recommendations, but they do suggest using the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary time and consulting with your healthcare provider if you have concerns.
